I No Longer Have Pain Attacks

Around the summer of 1988 I had an attack (I referred to the pain as this because I didn’t know what it was) in my left shoulder blade. The pain was sharp, causing numbness on my left triceps, elbow, wrist, neck and face. This attack lasted a couple of weeks. Each year, I would get another attack and the duration would be longer with more acute pain.

For 17 years I dealt with this, knowing that I could ride out the pain for two weeks each attack. In the summer of 2005, I drove our family to Myrtle Beach for a vacation. The pain had radiated from my fingers, up the left arm, in my neck, down my spine and to my left leg. I endured that same pain on the return trip home. The pain which used to linger for a couple of weeks was now at 3 months and lasting 23 hours a day

When we returned home from our vacation, my wife gave me an advertisement for the Community Chiropractic Center in Tinley Park. I had tried ultra sounds, EMGs, MRIs, physical therapy and medicine over the past 17 years and was convinced over time that I would have to deal with my pain and discomfort. I was so miserable after our trip that I told my wife I would try a visit to CCC even though no treatment in the past had any lasting effect.

I met Dr. Ken on my first visit. He felt that my condition was curable. He couldn’t have been more correct! After my first two visits, the 24 hour a day numbness and pain in my left arm had almost completely dissipated. Ken and Gwen were compassionate towards me and my ailment and worked together to ensure that I was comfortable with the treatments.

After 3 months of treatments, I am 99% cured. I no longer have attacks, nor do I have discomfort for any duration.
