Treating Unbearable Arthritis and Getting Back to Normal Life

Dr. Barry and Staff,

I just wanted to thank all of you for helping me get back to normal every day living.

Five months ago I could hardly walk. I was on so much medication for my condition and the pain was getting unbearable. Nothing seemed to help.

My Rheumatologist suggested I try another type of injection. She said the side effects were worse and I would have to be closely monitored by her while it was administered. Just Knowing I could have a stroke made me decide against it.

I went home and cried. I was ready to give up, all I could think of was how much pain I was in and how far I had fallen behind in work and all the things I needed to do around the house.

Later that day I was talking to one of my sons. I told him about an article I had read in a local newspaper about Community Chiropractic Centers, he said I should give it a try because I had run out of other options. I went and he decided to go with me.

I was evaluated and my treatments were started that week. I was counselled on diet and the importance of getting rid of the toxins in my system. Slowly I was able to get off the prescription anti-inflammatories and pain medications and switch to over the vitamins and medications (Tylenol and Advil).

I have joint damage so I’ll never be 100% but I’m walking much better, I can take care of my home and family again, and I’m looking forward to going back to work soon.

I am on maintenance visits and doing well. I do my exercises regularly and thank God every day for helping me get through this trying time in my life.

The commitment for treatment was not easy, but it was well worth the effort. Again I would like to thank every one for all of your help and support.
