This study showed repeating a mantra (a word or phrase said silently) helps you cope with life. 75% of subjects eased stress, frustration and tension. Wellness/Prevention: Naps for the Heart. Those who napped 30 minutes, 3 times a week, were 37% less likely to die from a heart problem. Two possible explanations: stress relief and/or people who nap just take better care of themselves. Archives of Internal Medicine, Feb 2007
